Manager of the Month ~ Betsy Smart!

Since stepping into the veterinary field 25 years ago, Betsy has been a constant source of dedication, grit, and grace. She first joined Pet Wellness Clinics in 2007, she’s been a driving force in our success for more than 18 years. Today, she serves as our Director of Operations, where her organization, leadership, and unmatched work ethic keep the entire network moving forward.

Betsy is the kind of leader who quietly does a thousand things behind the scenes to make life easier for everyone else. She has a reputation for being detail-oriented, highly efficient, and just a impressively organized. Whether she’s supporting clinics, guiding teams, or keeping the big picture in focus, Betsy does it all with humility and heart.

Why Betsy Stands Out

Betsy’s impact is hard to put into words. She’s reliable, steady, and always puts the needs of our clinics and teams first. While her role often happens behind the curtain, her influence is everywhere—felt in the way our hospitals run, the way our people feel supported, and the way our culture continues to grow stronger.

Outside the Clinic

When she’s not keeping PWC running at full speed, Betsy enjoys slowing down with her fur family and friends. She loves lounging on the couch with her three pets—Remi, her 13-year-old beagle and best friend, and one-year-old kitten brothers, Max and Milo. She also makes time for tennis, church, and quality time with the people who matter most.
