Please join us in congratulating Samantha Johnson, our October 2026 Manager of the Month! Samantha leads with positivity, a problem-solving spirit, and a whole lot of heart. Her team feels it every day, and so do the pets and families who walk through our doors.
Samantha's path to veterinary medicine started long before her first day in a clinic. She has worked with animals since high school, and that early passion grew into a career. She has now been in vet med for about three years.
She celebrates her three-year anniversary with PWC this December. "Time flies," she says, and we couldn't agree more. In that short time, she has made a big impact.
Samantha is committed to supporting her team while also making sure our clients and patients receive exceptional care and service.
When challenges come up, Samantha takes a solution-focused approach. She works through obstacles, supports the people around her, and looks for ways to help her clinic succeed. Even on the busiest days, she stays positive and engaged, setting a wonderful example for her team.
Her nominator says it best:

Samantha is very close with her family: her mom, her older sister, and her two younger sisters. But her dogs, Oakley and Laika, are her world.
Oakley holds an important title at the clinic: Assistant to the Manager. When Oakley visits, the job is inspecting the treats and the belly rubs. Both must be up to par, and Oakley takes quality control very seriously.
Laika is Samantha's "chaotic space dog." She is mostly deaf, part blind, and all sass. Laika proves that a pup doesn't need perfect hearing or sight to have a huge personality.
When she's not at the clinic, you'll likely find Samantha playing video games with her sisters or curled up with a good book. She also loves crafting, though she admits most of her projects "inevitably never get finished." (We suspect a few of our readers can relate!)
Samantha's hard work, dedication, and daily impact make her a natural choice for this honor. We are grateful for her leadership and proud to celebrate her as our October Manager of the Month.
And a special shout-out to Oakley, who will no doubt keep up the excellent treat inspections. The clinic is in good paws.
