We’re proud to recognize Dr. Tomasic as our Vet of the Month. Dr. Tomasic is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian whose curiosity and commitment to growth continue to elevate the care we offer.
Originally from Northwest Indiana, Dr. Tomasic earned her undergraduate degree from DePauw University in 2008 before going on to receive her DVM from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She began her veterinary career in her hometown before making her way to the Indianapolis area, where she’s been serving local pets and their people ever since.
Dr. Tomasic’s professional interests include ophthalmology, preventative medicine, pain management, and internal medicine, all driven by her desire to help pets live longer, healthier, and more comfortable lives.
Recently, she completed additional training and received her acupuncture certification through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. This new skill allows her to offer an integrative approach to care.
“I pursued acupuncture training because I want to be able to offer an alternative therapy for pain management and mobility issues,” she shares.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Dr. Tomasic enjoying time with her animals, reading, cycling, and spending time outdoors.
Whether she’s helping a senior pet manage chronic pain or guiding a new puppy through their first visit, Dr. Tomasic brings empathy, expertise, and heart to every appointment.
