Sam Kinslow ~ Employee of the Month November 2026

Kind, upbeat, and quick with a laugh, Sam Kinslow brings a warmth to our College Park Pet Wellness Clinic that patients, clients, and teammates all feel. As a Veterinary Assistant, she pairs genuine care for every pet with a positive attitude that makes even the busiest days a little brighter. We're proud to name Sam our Employee of the Month.

A Calming Presence in the Exam Room

Sam talks to every pet she cares for throughout the visit. A calm voice and a friendly word go a long way for a nervous dog or an unsure cat, and pet parents notice. In recent months, Sam has earned multiple 10/10 client reviews.

Why Sam Was Nominated

Her nominator put it this way:

"She is so kind and friendly with clients, and she genuinely cares about the patients… Sam talks to the pets, which I think owners love, and tries to make their visit less stressful. She always keeps a positive attitude and keeps everything light. It helps that she's hilarious as well."

That sense of humor is part of what makes Sam such a bright spot in the clinic. She keeps the mood light on busy days, cheers up her teammates, and helps families relax even when their pet's visit feels like a big deal.

Where It All Began

Sam's veterinary career began with PWC. She started at our Client Service Center, where she spent about four months helping pet parents by phone, then moved into the clinic as a Veterinary Assistant. She now has about three years in veterinary medicine, and we're so glad to have her on our team.

Meet the Family (Human and Furry)

Life at home is just as lively. Sam and her wife, who is the assistant manager at our Carmel Pet Wellness Clinic, share their home with five cats and three dogs: Bug, Bee, Birdie, Scarlett, Banjo, Chewy, Louie, and Briar, a 12-week-old kitten and their newest family member. They also foster cats, so there's usually at least one extra set of paws around. When she has a quiet moment, Sam reads history books covering World War I through the Vietnam War, picks up a true crime story, or plays Xbox.
