Join us in congratulating Courtney Jarnecke, our April Manager of the Month! Since entering the veterinary field in 2018, Courtney has been passionate about making a difference for animals and their people. Over the past two years at PWC, she’s become an essential part of the team—most recently stepping into a new management role where she’s already shining.
Courtney was nominated for her willingness to jump in wherever needed and her unwavering dedication to her clinic, team, and patients. Even as a new manager, she’s owned the role with heart and hustle, making sure her clinic runs smoothly and her team feels supported every step of the way.
Outside of work, Courtney loves spending time with her growing family. She and her husband, Patrick, are parents to a spirited 3-year-old daughter named Penny and are excited to welcome a baby boy in June! Their household also includes a lovable crew of pets: three cats—Wiley, Stella, and Mouse—and a sweet husky/lab mix named Muffin. When they have downtime, the whole family enjoys walks through their nearby nature preserve, soaking up quality time together.
Courtney’s leadership style is all about support, teamwork, and leading by example. She’s the kind of person who always puts others first, and her positive energy helps lift everyone around her. Whether it’s stepping in to help a teammate or making sure every patient gets the best possible care, Courtney is all in—every day.
