Dr. Gau has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years. She graduated from University of Missouri with awards for her commitment to the human animal bond and work in Pet Therapy.

Dr. Gau especially enjoys working with senior pets to make their final years happy and comfortable. She recently adopted an 8 year old dog, Truckee. In addition to Truckee, Dr. Gau shares her home with two other dogs, Binney and Luca, and a Senegal parrot named Olive. In her spare time she enjoys hiking with the dogs and fishing.
