Dr. Miranda grew up in Carmel, Indiana. She studied Animal Science at Iowa State University and graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in 2016. She went on to work for the USDA, studying antimicrobial resistance, before continuing her education. Dr. Miranda attended St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Dr. Miranda’s special interests include preventative medicine, client education, soft tissue surgery, as well as shelter medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Miranda enjoys spending time with her husband, Rafael, and their two dogs, Winston and Millie. She enjoys reading, swimming, and being surrounded by friends and family.
