Michael Graves, D.V.M., owner and CEO of Indianapolis-based Pet Wellness Clinics, announces the continued expansion of this local network of veterinary offices with a new location in the Broad Ripple area — the eighth location for Pet Wellness Clinics.
Located at 1430 Broad Ripple Avenue, Suite 1, in Indianapolis, the clinic officially opens on Monday, May 18. Right in the heart of Broad Ripple, the clinic is walking distance from Broad Ripple Bark Park, one of just four dog parks offered by Indy Parks in Marion County.
“We have many current clients visiting us from that area and, after some research, we felt it was an area with a growing need for pet health care providers,” Dr. Graves said. “Plus, it’s walking distance to both Broad Ripple Bark Park as well as the Monon Trail. We know this area is very popular for pedestrians and their pets, and we are excited to have our clinic right in the middle of Broad Ripple, where it can be easily accessed by everyone.”
The new full-service veterinary facility will offer complete veterinary care, including vaccinations, dental cleanings, digital X-rays and a complete surgical suite. The company also continues to offer telemedicine appointments via a smartphone app as well as curbside services.
“Many people are spending a lot more time at home with their pets these days and realizing what good companions they are,” Dr. Graves said. “They are probably also becoming more aware of any medical needs the pet has, so that’s why I think as a profession we are seeing an increase in business overall. I can't say we're not taking a hit because of the pandemic — everybody is — but probably less than some other places because we have a variety of ways for people to get the care their pets need.”
As part of the celebration of the Broad Ripple location opening, Pet Wellness Clinics is offering new clients a complimentary veterinary exam for their pet.
Pet Wellness Clinics also plans to open a ninth location in Carmel in June.
