Manager of the Month ~ Liz Hunter

This month, we're proud to recognize Liz Hunter as our Manager of the Month for her exceptional leadership and dedication at Carmel Pet Wellness Clinic. Every day, Liz brings a calm, thoughtful approach to leading her team, creating a positive environment where both people and pets thrive.

Liz began her veterinary medicine career with Pet Wellness Clinics in 2021. Since joining the Carmel team, she has grown into a confident, compassionate leader who leads by example and is always willing to support those around her.

One of Liz's greatest strengths is her commitment to developing her team. She takes the time to mentor new team members, helping them build their skills, grow in confidence, and become outstanding veterinary assistants. Her encouragement and leadership have helped foster a collaborative, supportive culture that benefits teammates, clients, and patients alike.

Whether she's guiding a teammate, supporting a client, or helping ensure patients receive exceptional care, Liz leads with kindness, poise, and genuine compassion. Her steady leadership makes a difference every day, and we're grateful for everything she brings to our team.

Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their growing feline family, including Birdie, Bee, Bug, Scarlett, a 16-year-old cat managing diabetes and arthritis, and an 8-year-old FIV-positive foster cat. In her free time, you'll often find her relaxing with her family and cats while watching TV or reading, or enjoying hobbies like journaling and diamond painting.
