Managers of the Month: Celebrating Jade Heath, Hope Merrick & Courtney Burke

At PWC, strong leadership is the foundation of everything we do. This month, we’re proud to spotlight three exceptional District Managers who embody that every single day: Jade Heath, Hope Merrick, and Courtney Burke. Each brings a unique story, a deep commitment to veterinary medicine, and an inspiring ability to balance leadership, family, and personal passions.

Jade Heath

Jade Heath: Strength, Structure, and Heart

With nearly 16 years in veterinary medicine, Jade Heath has built her career on dedication, resilience, and a passion for growth. Since joining PWC in 2019, she has become a steady and confident leader whose impact is felt every day.

Outside of work, Jade’s world revolves around her family. She and her husband are raising their son, Connor, alongside a lively crew that includes their dog, Leroy, and four cats: Meow Meow, Ticky, Poof, and Quency. She embraces every moment of life, whether she’s exploring parks, woods, and creeks with her family, tackling complex puzzles, or finding joy in cleaning and organizing.

Jade was nominated not only for all she accomplishes, but for how she accomplishes it. She leads with strength and clarity, balancing the demands of work and family with grace. Her decisive leadership and unwavering commitment to PWC inspire those around her daily.

Hope Merrick: Passion, Loyalty, and Drive

Hope Merrick’s journey in veterinary medicine and at PWC began at the same time 11 years ago. Starting fresh out of college, Hope has grown alongside the company, becoming a leader who brings both experience and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Her life outside of work is centered on her close-knit family: her husband Shane, her son Oliver, and their energetic Australian Shepherd, Huk. Whether it’s enjoying a great cup of coffee, traveling, or simply spending time together outdoors, Hope embraces every opportunity to create meaningful moments.

Hope's nomination is for her incredible ability to “do it all.” She balances her role as a district manager with family life, all while staying highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused. Her leadership style is confident and intentional, and her impact is consistently recognized by those she works with.

Courtney Burke, Pet Wellness Clinics

Courtney Burke: Positivity, Balance, and Energy

With 11 years in veterinary medicine and 8 years at PWC, Courtney Burke has built a career rooted in positivity and connection. She describes herself as “lucky” to call PWC home, and that gratitude shines through in her leadership style.

At home, family time is everything. She and her husband, Kyle—whom she credits as the “glue” of their family—are raising two young boys, ages 6 and 2. Their household also includes two domestic shorthair cats and two senior dogs, a German Shepherd and a Husky. Whether they’re playing outside, soaking up sunshine, or tending to their garden (or attempting to!), Courtney cherishes the being together with her family.

Courtney’s nomination speaks to her ability to juggle it all while maintaining a consistently positive attitude. She brings energy, warmth, and encouragement to her team. Her smile is contagious, and her presence uplifts those around her.

A Shared Commitment to Excellence

While each of these leaders has her own story, they share a common thread: a dedication to their teams, their families, and the mission of PWC. They lead not just with skill, but with heart, which makes a meaningful difference every single day.

Please join us in celebrating Jade Heath, Hope Merrick, and Courtney Burke. Congrats on setting outstanding examples of what leadership at PWC looks like.
