Every month, we celebrate one of the patients who makes our days brighter. This October, that honor goes to Miko, a handsome young kitten who has already won over our whole team at Pet Wellness Clinics.
Miko visited us this month for his neuter, and he handled the day like a pro. He was calm, sweet, and an absolute gentleman to every staff member he met. Congratulations, Miko. You're one lucky guy!
Miko's favorite pastime is playing with his brother, Bubbles. The two of them are a nonstop source of entertainment, keeping each other busy and their family laughing with every chase, pounce, and wrestling match.
Ask Miko about snacks and he will tell you salmon-flavored treats are the only way to go. One crinkle of the bag and he is front and center, ready to accept his rightful reward.
Miko is in a cat-egory all his own. At just 8 months old, he already tips the scales at 12 pounds. He is clearly on track to grow into one fur-midable grown-up, and he carries every ounce with purr-fect charm.
Miko's neuter is more than a routine visit. It's one of the most important steps a family can take for a young pet's long-term health. Spaying and neutering can help prevent certain health problems later in life, reduce some unwanted behaviors, and support a longer, happier life together.
Wondering when the right time is for your own pet? Our veterinary team will recommend timing based on your pet's age, size, and overall health.
When we asked why Miko loves coming to PWC, his family said it’s simple: our team takes really good care of him, and he knows he’s loved here.
That means the world to us. A visit to the vet can be a big day for a young pet, especially one that involves surgery. Our goal is for every patient to feel safe and cared for, and for every family to feel confident they're in trusted hands. Miko's relaxed, happy attitude tells us we're doing exactly that.
Thank you to Miko's family for trusting us with his care, and for sharing this sweet boy with all of us. We can't wait to watch him (and Bubbles) keep growing.
