Dr. Chinchilla grew up in northwest Indiana and stayed in the Hoosier state while pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree at Purdue University. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 2020. She practiced for a few years in Las Vegas, NV and then Nashville, TN before making her way back to Indiana and joining the Pet Wellness Clinics team. Dr. Chinchilla’s professional interests include internal medicine, parasitology and ophthalmology.
In her spare time, she is studying Spanish and practicing the language daily, with the goal of becoming fluent by 2024. At home, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Josué, their two cats (Millie and Squid), and their two dogs (Tico and Finn).
